Hello there!
I am glad you landed here. My name is Ying Moua and I am a licensed therapist. I am Hmong American and a SoCal native. I enjoy the outdoors and animals make me lovestruck.
I have a decade of experience addressing the following: chronic pain, depression, infertility, grief, oncology, life transitions, peer relationships, self-compassion, and stress management. I specialize in working with ambitious adults who struggle with low self-esteem and a high self-loathing sense of purpose from cultural nuances. Together we can overcome obstacles to regain control and create change in your life.
I have an eclectic approach and tailor it to you. My theoretical orientation is system theory with a strength-based framework. My practice is rooted in person center approach. I utilize mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and solution focused modalities.
